Jason and Melinda McCauley welcome you to  the Alma in Willunga ,situated in the heart of the southern vales wine region and adjacent to Mclaren Vale, a heritage country hotel, perfect for a great value family meal or a refreshing stop during your travels through the fleurieu peninsula. Facilities include meals 7 days per week in the dining room, beer garden, private function room, drive-through bottle-shop, TAB, SA Lotteries, ATM, 12 gaming machines, visitor information, 8-Ball table and regular live music.

In the bar there are 9 beers on tap and plenty of local wines by the glass or bottle. Sit by the open fire or relax in our spacious beer garden. Chat to the locals, have a game of pool or just enjoy the character of a traditional country hotel. 

The drive-in is competitive and independent, operating under the Bargains Banner and has regular specials which are included in the news section. Whilst we stock all your favorite beer, wine and soft drink, we have a special focus on locally produced wines.  Bulk orders are welcome and home delivery in the local area can be arranged.  

 Visit the “Old Fart’s Bar” which is the original section of the hotel and named after 5 customers who between them have over 150 years patronage at the hotel, we’ll even take your photo if you like. Read the story of the Alma resident ghost, an Irishman who fell down the well. Locals will swear that he frequents the bar on late cold wintry nights for a pint of Guinness and a bit of the blarney.
